Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

Will You Be My Bridesmaid and Luxury Bridesmaid Proposals

Influencer Culture is changing the “WYBMB” asking game. The influencer impact on bridal parties has become strong. Seeing weddings every weekend at Pole Barn Chic, we are taking note of what is happening outside the ceremony and reception and being a wedding planner, I am here for it!

Asking to be a bridesmaid does not have to be an over-the-top moment, but some people want exactly that. Today’s brides are opting to purchase luxury bridesmaids’ proposal boxes and bachelorette giftbags for their wedding party, filling them with (roughly) $300 worth of presents, letters and brands they love.

You are in your bridal era and looking to invite your best friends to be a part of your celebration. Being a bridesmaid is usually a financial burden and time taker so, naturally, you want to give your girls something in appreciation.

Influencers get free products and show them online, everywhere.
Many brides-to-be looking to emulate influencers online, do so by trying to get free products sent to them for everyday use or big events – especially weddings.

More than 60% of couples plan on giving their wedding party gifts and (shockingly) more than 50% of couples admit they are increasing their overall budget just to try to emulate something they have seen on social media.

Some brides are reaching out to brands directly to either get gifts directly to try and get free items for their bachelorette or wedding day. Couples probably should not plan on hearing back from the brands, as roughly only 1/425 brands will respond and usually, they aren’t sending anything (but a special QR Discount code to purchase their items) anyway.

Wanting the influencer vibe but you’re on a budget? No problem.
Brides are picking personalized towels, monogram bags, pajamas and more on Etsy and Amazon.

Whatever it is that you pick, the key is to make sure it’s personal and special. Meaningful gifts will always be received well. But, if you are at a loss on ideas for your bridesmaids gifts, here are a few suggestions that won’t break the bank.

Some gift ideas include:

‍ ‍

The jewelry you want them to wear on the day of your wedding.  This is the most common item given. It’s almost a staple gift that bridesmaids expect to receive.

Other items include:
Wine Freeze Cooling Cups
Personalized make up or travel bags – personalized keeps them from getting mixed up with the other bridesmaids.
Portable phone chargers – keep the phone charged for photos!
Therapeutic sleep mask – ensure everyone gets a good night sleep the night before the wedding!
Passport Holder and Luggage Tag Set – this is definitely something you can personalize and stay within budget.

Pole Barn Chic is locally owned and operated. We hope to encourage engaged couples to consider choosing a locally owned wedding venue. We go to great lengths to exceed expectations, and you will find that locally owned wedding venues have far less turnover and that leads to better communication!
