Which package is best for the PBC Venue couple?

At the PBC Venue, we currently offer 4 different packages; all beneficial in their own way, but also all very different.
Let’s go through them to see what the best option will be for you and your fiancé.

The 6 hour / Day of / Rental Only:
Best use of time: 60 – 90 minutes set up, 4-hour reception, 30 minutes for tear down.
This package is best for couples with a large crew of helpers, independent of your bridal party.

The schedule allows for 2 hours of house access. I recommend coming with hair (or makeup) already complete, because those 2 hours will also be competing with the video or photographer, first looks with your fiancé or other family member of choice, bridal party shenanigans & those last moments with your grandma, pinning boutonnieres, spot cleaning on a tie, etc.

While all of this is happening with your bridal party, you will need to have another set of people prepping for you.
The friends (or family) you pick to decorate the venue must have a very clear view of what your vision is for your big day. We strongly encourage attending an open house with your decorating crew so you can show them exactly what your expectations are.

You must use our preferred vendors list, as our preferred vendors know exactly where to go, what to do, where plug ins are and what our protocol is. This keeps your event running exceptionally smooth, which is exactly what you need when you are on a time frame.
30 minutes at the conclusion of your event is meant to tear down and remove all personal items. Keep in mind, the same team that sets up for your wedding may not be the ideal people for breaking it down. For this task, make sure you pick people that won’t be drinking too much, you can trust to do an efficient job of getting everything out and to be responsible with your items.
It is up to the couple to provide a full timeline and execute it throughout the day. All aspects of the day will fall on the couples’ shoulders.

The Wedding Coordination Package
:
This add on option is best for couples that still want to be involved & come to meetings, but ultimately do not want to worry about making decisions on their wedding day.

They don’t want their friends or family to be burdened with details and decorating for their wedding. They want their guests to have fun as well and don’t want them to be stuck with responsibilities.

Relax knowing your day has professional staff behind you when it comes to creating (and executing) your timeline, vendor communication, guest coordination, decoration set up, clean up and more. Perks include dropping off all personal items the day before your event, getting early access to the home on property the morning of your wedding and you can leave items locked up at the venue for pick up later.

The (nearly) All Inclusive:
Get this package if you don’t have time to plan a wedding, you want to make things as simple as possible, you just want to focus on the fun things, or if there’s a possibility all the hoopla is for someone else.

The very real fact is this: Not everyone enjoys planning, not everyone gets excited over different shades of the same color and not everyone wants a big wedding. Some people would just like to show up to an event – genuinely excited to NOT have to plan it….at all.
You’re here for the good time, not a thousand decisions. You have a busy life and don’t have the time to track down vendors, check for references, etc. You don’t want to pick people to decorate your wedding for you; you would rather just leave it in the hands of the professionals.

If you are looking for “easy”, this is the closest package you can get. You still get the best job (food testing!), but then you get to enjoy the rest of your life, too. Wedding planning can very easily (and very quickly) take over every free minute of every single day.  Just a few meetings with the PBC staff and you will be able to get the wedding of your dreams. This package includes not only the house, the pole barn, and the garage, but it also includes all the tables, chairs, an allowance for photography, decorations, flowers, DJ, your dance floor, uplighting, the bar minimum, wedding planning, timeline execution, full assistance, vendor communication, event set up & tear down, overnight honeymoon accommodations and more!

The Weekend Wedding:
Great for families that don’t get to see each other often or have a lot of out of town family members coming to the wedding.

This is ideal for families that are coming together from far and wide. A 3-day long event that encompasses everything family and love. Your family gets to use the PBC Venue as “base” for the next 3 days. Blended families come from the hotels across the street & meet at the barn, bringing in their dresses, personal items, bridal party gifts and more.
Families love the night of rehearsal dinner, decorate together, catching up and enjoying each other’s company (and usually the bar) for a few hours before going back across the street.
The next day is wedding day! Because the ice has been broken and everyone has already caught up from the night before, it’s nothing but fun during the night of the wedding!
Leave the items, the leftovers, the clothes and the gifts -- you can pick it all back up tomorrow after your goodbye breakfast with the crew.

Day 3 is the last day you get to spend with your family (until who knows when).
Open the doors one more time for mid-morning gift opening, muffins and mimosas! Whether it’s donuts from your favorite bakery or brunch with biscuits and gravy, ham, potatoes, fruit and assorted breakfast pastries, choose to send your closest friends and family home with full bellies and great memories.

Take the time to pick your package. Discuss it with your partner and find out what really fits your style and budget the best. Know what you really want from your wedding memories and decide what is most important. All of these packages are current offers and are subject to change, have price increases or be discontinued at any time.

Pole Barn Chic is locally owned and operated. We hope to encourage engaged couples to consider choosing a locally owned wedding venue. We go to great lengths to exceed expectations, and you will find that locally owned wedding venues have far less turnover and that leads to better communication! We love shouting out and supporting our locally owned wedding venue and wedding business colleagues. Here are a few locally owned wedding venues across the US:
