For a November wedding, consider something warmer.

And if you are attending a wedding in September, check the forecast shortly before leaving home. Illinois September weather can range from summer-like heat to genuinely cool evenings.

5. Winter Wedding Guests: Bring the Real Coat

If you are flying into Illinois from somewhere warm for a December, January or February wedding, this is not the weekend to convince yourself that your cute little jacket is technically a coat. Bring the coat. Central Illinois winters can include freezing temperatures, snow, ice and wind.
