How to tastefully include the deceased.

Deceased Loved Ones: How to address the ones that couldn’t be there for your day.

Including a tribute to deceased love ones at your wedding can be a profoundly moving experience. It serves as a reminder of their significance in your life and allows you to honor their memory amidst your celebration.
We have seen several this incorporated several different ways in the venue.

The Memory Table:
Creating an entire table at your wedding venue where you can display photographs, mementos, or other personal belongings of the deceased love one. Consider this table when coming up with candles and floral counts as well, if you want it to match the rest of the tables.

Reserving a Seat:
Reserving a set at your ceremony for a deceased loved one is a poignant way to acknowledge their absence.
Choose a seat in the front row to signify their importance in your life. Place a framed photo on your chair along with a flower or a small sign that mentions their name. Maybe use their favorite scarf, favorite book or broach to add an even more personal touch.

Light a Candle:
Lighting a candle during your ceremony or reception can be a beautiful tribute. It symbolizes the eternal presence of your loved one and can be a moment of reflection during the festivities.

Include Them in Your Program:
Dedicate a section of your wedding program to your deceased loved ones. Write a heartfelt note or include a favorite quote or memory. This allows guests to understand the impact these individuals had on your life.

Keep in mind that these are just different options. Be creative and do it your own way.
There is no right or wrong when choosing how to honor a loved one.
